His oranges

One day he discovered a CHAMELEON orange trying to escape from his kitchen table.

It was a restless, yet cautious fruit ; as quiet as a mouse, it was rolling only when the bard was pretending to look somewhere else.

It was also changing its colours for less conspicuous ones, in a vain attempt to camouflage.

Naturally, the bard tried to eat the wonderfruit anyway, but that cost him a tooth : it was a CRYSTAL BALL lost among his oranges, apparently fearing for their future.
